We recently completed a refinance for a client following a referral from a valued lender partner. The property in question let to several commercial occupiers on a mixture of leases and licences. During the due diligence stage a number of tenancy discrepancies came to light including inconsistent lease terms and missing plans. The lender was unable to progress the loan without the rectification of the discrepancies and the client had already committed financially to the deal
