SHARE CODE...WHAT SHARE CODE?

From 02 June 2025, expired Biometric Resident Permits (BRPs) could no longer be used to travel to the UK (see our earlier post here).
However, there are still many of you out there that haven’t created a UKVI account to access your eVisa.
By creating this account, you will be able to view details of your immigration status online & most importantly, be able to offer third parties your share code to review your right to work, right to rent and eligibility to set up a business in the UK.
Key points to be aware of:
You can use your current or expired BRP to create your UKVI account which then provides access to your eVisa and allows you to create a share code to prove your identity and status in the UK.
Expired BRPs should be kept as they may help with future applications in the UK such as applying for indefinite leave to remain.
Your current passport or travel document must be linked to your UKVI account.
Do not hesitate, apply now and if you need further information, FG Solicitors are here to help and guide you.
